Default How does Blindness work in PvP?

says it all in the title. Do their screens go black for X amount of seconds while they blind. How does the game blind real players?

Blindness just makes a character miss more often with physical attacks. There's a condition icon displayed on your screen as well as a graphic on the character itself - a black cloud around the eyes symbolizes blindness, I believe - but there's nothing like the whole screen going dark. Calling it blindness is perhaps misleading. It's more like getting dust in your eyes so they start to tear up...

While blind, attacks (and magical projectiles as well I believe) have a 90% chance to miss.
